Daddy’s Girl.
So Chloe really isn’t a mommy or daddy’s girl yet–she just loves us both! (which we both love! =) However, when I see her with her daddy, it warms my heart. She LOVES her daddy. When Jeremy picks her up in the morning, she gives him a smile that would melt a snowman. Then she looks at me as if to say, “Do you see how much my daddy loves me? Do you see how special he thinks I am?” Then, her eyes go back to lovingly studying his face as her hands reach up and hold it. When she hears him come home from work, she immediately begins to look around to try and find him. As soon as he enters the room, she starts beaming. When we are in a crowd of people, she scans every face trying to find her daddy…when she succeeds, she again lights up like a star. I am so thankful for my husband’s love for our me and our little girl. He makes us both feel like we are the most special things in the entire universe! And that, is LOVE!
michelle! so… for some reason, my blog-roll has stopped showing me when you update your blog – like since november!!! so i’ve missed all these amazing updates! i was tearing up today reading everything. i miss those moments with emma, and can’t WAIT to have them again with rylie.
as i was watching some of the videos, emma was looking over my shoulder and said, “look, mommy! that’s like what WE’RE gonna have!” (as in, a baby girl.) i confirmed this thought, and then she said, “is that the one? is that our baby? are they keeping her ’til she’s big and can come to our house??” isn’t that so funny? the mind of a 3-year-old.
glad to see y’all are doing well… can’t wait to see you again – hopefully soon!
oh, and i love you!
…haha… and…
i just tried to post my “i love you” comment, and i got a message from your blog that said:
(and i quote):
